Dabei verbrauchen energieintensive Industriesektoren wie Stahl, Chemie, Textilien, Lebensmittel und eben auch die Papierindustrie in Europa fast 2.000 Terawattstunden Energie pro Jahr f\u00fcr die Produktion von Prozessw\u00e4rme. In Deutschland entf\u00e4llt ungef\u00e4hr die H\u00e4lfte des Endenergieverbrauchs auf die Erzeugung von W\u00e4rme, wobei die Erzeugung von Prozessw\u00e4rme dem Umweltbundesamt zufolge sektor\u00fcbergreifend einen Anteil von etwa 23 Prozent ausmacht. Der Anteil an gr\u00fcner W\u00e4rme liegt laut dena jedoch erst bei ungef\u00e4hr 15 Prozent. Dementsprechend bieten Prozessw\u00e4rme bzw.
