Ein Gro\u00dfteil davon wird derzeit f\u00fcr die Produktion von Prozessw\u00e4rme genutzt. Um den Erdgasverbrauch und die daraus entstehenden Treibhausgasemissionen zu verringern, muss auch hier die Elektrifizierung vorangetrieben werden. Power-to-Heat-L\u00f6sungen erm\u00f6glichen es, Prozessw\u00e4rme effizient zu dekarbonisieren. Insbesondere f\u00fcr den Temperaturbereich unterhalb von 500\u00b0C, auf den knapp die H\u00e4lfte des industriellen W\u00e4rmebedarfs entf\u00e4llt, bietet sich die Gewinnung von Prozessw\u00e4rme durch Strom aus erneuerbaren Energiequellen an. Die Kombination mit W\u00e4rmespeichern bringt zus\u00e4tzliche Flexibilit\u00e4t.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-fcc0dc6 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"fcc0dc6\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-7e25ed3\" data-id=\"7e25ed3\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-37873b6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"37873b6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Power-to-Heat: Wie Strom zu W\u00e4rme wird <\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a2f9cfd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a2f9cfd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Die Umwandlung von Strom in W\u00e4rme, bekannt als \u201ePower-to-Heat\u201c (kurz: PtH), bietet eine effiziente M\u00f6glichkeit, <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.en-nest.de\/de\/systemintegration-erneuerbarer-energien\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00fcbersch\u00fcssigen Strom aus erneuerbaren Energien<\/a> in W\u00e4rme umzuwandeln, die sich einfacher speichern l\u00e4sst. Grunds\u00e4tzlich wird in zwei \u00a0Power-to-Heat-Systeme unterschieden: Zum einen gibt es die M\u00f6glichkeit, Strom direkt in W\u00e4rme umzuwandeln. Im industriellen Kontext werden hierf\u00fcr prim\u00e4r Elektrodenkessel verwendet. In diesen kann erneuerbarer Strom mit Hilfe von in Salzwasser schwimmenden Elektroden fast eins zu eins in W\u00e4rme umgewandelt werden. So wird aus einer Kilowattstunde Strom nur etwas weniger als eine Kilowattstunde W\u00e4rme.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Eine zweite PtH-Option ist die Verwendung von Strom als Antrieb f\u00fcr W\u00e4rmepumpen. Diese nutzen den Strom, um die verf\u00fcgbare Umweltw\u00e4rme \u2013 von Grundwasser, Boden oder Umgebungsluft \u2013 auf ein h\u00f6heres Temperaturniveau zu heben. Durch ihre Volatilit\u00e4t wird es in Zukunft im Strommarkt zunehmend zu Situationen mit einem Angebots\u00fcberschuss kommen. Die Umwandlung dieser \u00fcbersch\u00fcssigen Energie in W\u00e4rme er\u00f6ffnet weitere Nutzungsm\u00f6glichkeiten und f\u00fchrt zu einem h\u00f6heren erneuerbare Energien-Anteil im W\u00e4rmesektor. Durch die Integration von thermische Energiespeichern wie beispielsweise der <a href=\"\/de\/thermal-battery\">ThermalBattery\u2122<\/a> von ENERGYNEST, die Energie in Form von W\u00e4rme bei Temperaturen bis zu 450\u00b0C speichert und bei Bedarf wieder in die Produktionsprozesse einspeist, werden Unternehmen deutlich flexibler, wann und zu welchen Preisen sie ihren Strom beziehen. Unternehmen haben in Zeiten hoher Stromverf\u00fcgbarkeit die M\u00f6glichkeit, diesen besonders kosteng\u00fcnstig einzukaufen und so zus\u00e4tzliche Lasten zu mobilisieren. So k\u00f6nnen erneuerbare Energiequellen effizient integriert werden.
